A cotton mat and pillow over coconut-fibre filling, set with several thousand pressure points. No needles — nothing pierces the skin. A carry bag is included.

Why it helps
Lying on the points spreads pressure across the back or neck and, for most people, gives way to a warm, heavy feeling after the first few minutes. It is used for muscular tension and for winding down before sleep.
The evidence
Early. A trial of 44 people with chronic back pain found the mat improved pain scores when added to an exercise programme. Some of the benefit may simply come from lying still for twenty minutes — which is worth doing regardless.
What is included
The mat, the pillow, and a drawstring carry bag that holds both. The bag is the reason it gets used more than once — rolled up and put away, rather than left out until it becomes furniture.
How to use it
Ten to twenty minutes on a firm surface. Intense at first, then it settles.
Materials
We work mainly in copper, moso bamboo, beechwood, cotton and natural fibre — materials chosen because they age well and because they have been doing these jobs for a very long time. Each piece is described above.
Care
Keep wood and bamboo dry between uses and they will last for years. Copper can be polished with half a lemon and a pinch of salt whenever you want the shine back, or left alone to darken. Nothing here is dishwasher safe.
Shipping & returns
Flat rate delivery: AED 40 to the UAE, Europe and Asia, and AED 70 to the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. One rate per order, however much you buy. Delivery times and full terms are set out in our shipping policy.
Unused items can be returned within 14 days of delivery, in their original packaging, with return shipping paid by you. Contact us first so we can confirm the return address. Anything faulty or damaged in transit is replaced or refunded at our cost.
