The dried fibre from inside a luffa gourd. Grown on a vine, peeled, deseeded and sun-dried. No dye, no bleach, no plastic netting.
Sold singly, or as a pack of three — about three months of use, at a lower price per loofah.
Why it helps
The open fibre lifts dead skin with very little pressure, leaving skin smoother and helping moisturiser absorb. It is coarser than a plastic puff, so you need less soap and less scrubbing.
Why not plastic
A synthetic puff sheds microplastic as it degrades and sits in landfill afterwards. A loofah grows in a season and composts completely.
Care
Rinse after every use and dry it somewhere with air moving, not on the shower rail. Keep it to yourself, off broken or freshly shaved skin, and replace it every three to four weeks. The pack of three is sized to that — one season, then compost them and start again.
Materials
We work mainly in copper, moso bamboo, beechwood, cotton and natural fibre — materials chosen because they age well and because they have been doing these jobs for a very long time. Each piece is described above.
Care
Keep wood and bamboo dry between uses and they will last for years. Copper can be polished with half a lemon and a pinch of salt whenever you want the shine back, or left alone to darken. Nothing here is dishwasher safe.
Shipping & returns
Flat rate delivery: AED 40 to the UAE, Europe and Asia, and AED 70 to the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. One rate per order, however much you buy. Delivery times and full terms are set out in our shipping policy.
Unused items can be returned within 14 days of delivery, in their original packaging, with return shipping paid by you. Contact us first so we can confirm the return address. Anything faulty or damaged in transit is replaced or refunded at our cost.
