Why it helps
Massaging the scalp increases blood flow to the roots and loosens tension across the head. The same prongs work along the back of the neck, the shoulders and the base of the skull — which is where most of us actually hold tension after a day at a screen.
It is one of the few things in a routine that is genuinely relaxing while you are doing it, rather than something you do because you should.
The evidence
Promising but small. In one study, nine men who massaged their scalps four minutes a day for 24 weeks grew measurably thicker hair — about 8% — though not more of it. It is not a treatment for hair loss, and anyone claiming otherwise is going past the research.
How to use it
Slow circles for a few minutes. Dry, in the shower with conditioner, or along the neck and shoulders whenever they feel tight.
Materials
We work mainly in copper, moso bamboo, beechwood, cotton and natural fibre — materials chosen because they age well and because they have been doing these jobs for a very long time. Each piece is described above.
Care
Keep wood and bamboo dry between uses and they will last for years. Copper can be polished with half a lemon and a pinch of salt whenever you want the shine back, or left alone to darken. Nothing here is dishwasher safe.

Unused items can be returned within 14 days of delivery, in their original packaging, with return shipping paid by you. Contact us first so we can confirm the return address. Anything faulty or damaged in transit is replaced or refunded at our cost.
